Hi, I’m Martina!

I picked up a camera for the first time at sixteen, but my interest in photography started much earlier. Growing up, I spent a lot of time looking through the photographs of my great-uncle, a locally recognized photographer active from the 1950s to the 1970s. Those images stayed with me and slowly shaped the way I began to see and record the world. By the time I was twenty-six, photography had grown from a personal interest into my profession.

Along the way, I earned an MA in Journalism, which deeply influenced how I approach photography today. It sharpened my sense of storytelling and reinforced my interest in real moments and honest situations. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, photographed more than 80 weddings, and collaborated with a lifestyle portal. My work spans portraits, events, street photography, product shoots, and everyday life, both commissioned and personal.

Outside of photography, I enjoy long drives and the sense of focus they bring. I’m currently working through a 15-book reading challenge and have grown fond of listening to music on an old radio player, mostly because I like not knowing what comes next. Every few days, I decide to cut chips out of my diet, only to quietly buy them again shortly after. I share a steady stream of inside jokes with my boyfriend and tend to disappear from social media for months at a time. I also spend a fair amount of time talking to my two cats. These everyday habits quietly influence how I observe and photograph the world.

"What are you doing in my swamp?!"
