This series was photographed during a short stay in Marrakech, where I traveled with my friend for a wedding assignment. We spent two days working on a pre-wedding event and the wedding itself, and the rest of the time wandering through the medina whenever we could.

Most of the photos were taken casually, with a small Ricoh GR III always in my hand. I moved carefully through the streets, unsure of what to expect and slightly nervous about photographing people, but in the end everything unfolded naturally. Between work days, we visited Jardin Majorelle early in the morning, had tea at 1122, and passed through spaces like La Mamounia, where cameras had to stay tucked away. At first, I thought Marrakech might be a one-time experience. Now, some time later, I find myself wanting to return and keep observing life on those streets.
